envy™ Apple, Bacon & Brie Cheese Toasties

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 slices sour dough bread
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 envy™ apple, peeled and corned and thinly sliced
  • 50g brie cheese
  • 4 slices cooked rindless bacon
  • 1 teaspoon honey mustard relish

METHOD

  • Butter the bread slices
  • Peel and core the apple and cut into thin slices
  • Lay out two slices of bread, buttered slide down
  • Top with a little honey mustard then layer with 2 slices of bacon envy™apple slices and brie cheese slices
  • Top with the remaining two slices of bread butter side up to create two sandwiches
  • Heat a grill pan or frying pan and cook the sandwiches until golden brown on each side and the cheese is beginning to bubble
  • Cut the sandwiches in half and serve with a side salad or extra relish
