Thriving in the summer and autumn sunshine, Ambrosia™ is picked and available from late March to late October each year. The combination of late summer and early autumn sunshine contributes to the development of Ambrosia™ apples’ exceptional taste and colour.
Ambrosia™ apple trees have been a delightful addition to the Montague Farms orchard. First planted in Australia in 2016, Ambrosia™ is grown across our apple growing network in Yarra Valley (VIC), Batlow (NSW), Adelaide Hills (SA), Stanthorpe (QLD) and Tamar and Huon Valley (TAS).
They are characterised by their beautiful pinkish-white blossoms in the spring, which transform into medium-sized, red-blushed fruits in the fall. Ambrosia™ apple trees require well-drained soil and full sun exposure to thrive.
Currently available from Woolworths, Coles, Costco and independent greengrocers.
